What is the hybrid?
The official developer Q&A describes a Dilophosaurus-human design, developed from an earlier human-raptor concept. The head crest is part of that visual identity. This establishes design intent, not a complete set of gameplay abilities.

Story names and costumes
Mascot names, costume displays and creature encounters are not interchangeable labels. We keep the plot explanation on the Dennis page so readers can look up movement help without exposing the ending.
Chase help
Follow the currently open escape route and the changing objective. The route guides identify the environmental interactions that advance each sequence. We have not established a universal flashlight stun, repeatable combat tactic or numeric detection range for the hybrid.
